Job description

Come join the Kansas Surgery and Recovery Center Team! We are the leading orthopedic surgery specialty hospital in Kansas with over 100 physicians performing elective procedures across numerous specialties providing exceptional patient care! We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our busy surgical center as we are set to open a rehabilitation unit. This role includes providing evaluations and treatment in a competent, effective, and efficient manner to patients during their rehab stay. The ideal candidate will have rehab experience and knowledge of rehab requirements and documentation that is required. This position requires a commitment to patient safety, accuracy, and respect for patient rights and dignity.

HOURS

Part-Time, Minimum 20 hours per week. Monday-Friday with rotating coverage of weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Candidate must have knowledge of Occupational Therapy and previous experience in the rehab setting is preferred.

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program, pass the NBCOT examination, and have a current Kansas license. A valid BLS certification is required.
