Job Overview:
As a Hard Parts Washer / Teardown you play a big part of the team in providing parts, service and goods to other team members. This is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions. Your day will be spent washing & tearing down parts, providing support to Inspectors and making sure daily demands are met and processes run smoothly within the department.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Manager, Supervisor and Inspectors when needed, advise them of all problems

  • Perform basic visual inspections of parts, disassemble and thoroughly wash parts

  • Prepare parts for Inspectors, help unload incoming shipments, assist others when caught up

  • Be prepared for scheduled and impromptu meetings, be able to work as a team

  • Assist others within the department, train new personnel and work overtime when needed

  • Follow directions from team leads, supervisors and managers, be proactive

  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily

  • Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred and detail oriented
