Quality Enterprises is looking for Parts Runner to join our team. The Parts Runner assists with general warehouse operations including the receiving, stocking, and pulling of parts as well as making parts deliveries to and from vendors and field crews.

Position Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Distribute requested parts to mechanics, field crews, and others.
  2. Make part deliveries between maintenance warehouse and local vendors.
  3. Provide purchasing agent with parts order forms.
  4. Return unused parts to the appropriate vendor.
  5. Collaborate with the Inventory Control Specialist on: unloading incoming parts from trucks, boxes, and various shipping containers; documenting any damages or missing stock; and comparing and verifying accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  6. Participate in general warehouse and yard operations, including: assist with opening and closing the warehouse for daily operation; maintain a clean and organized workspace; and occasionally clean heavy equipment by pressure washing and cleaning the inside of cabs.

Required Skills

  1. Ability to work efficiently in a high-production, deadline-driven environment.
  2. Must be able to work with limited supervision to complete assigned tasks.
  3. Must have exceptional time management skills to ensure that materials are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Must be able to operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move parts and engines.
  5. Must demonstrate continuous effort to streamline work processes, and work cooperatively as a team member.

Education & Experience

  1. Experience with lift trucks and pallet jacks preferred.
  2. Must have valid class E Florida Driver License with acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements

  1. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  2. Must be able to stand, walk, or sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, or stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
