Position Summary

The Parts and Warranty Administrator supports the service department by coordinating parts procurement, tracking inventory, and managing equipment warranty claims. This role works closely with technicians, vendors, and management to ensure timely repairs and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order parts for equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Track parts orders, deliveries, and backorders to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts purchases and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and returns.
  • Review repairs to determine warranty eligibility.
  • Prepare, submit, and track manufacturer warranty claims.
  • Maintain documentation related to parts usage, service work orders, and warranties.
  • Assist the service department with administrative tasks and reporting as needed.
