JOB OVERVIEW: 
The Parts Administrator supports branch operations while meeting the daily, weekly and monthly parts and inventory needs of the branch office.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Answers high volume of incoming customer calls.
  • Opens parts orders as needed in the computer system.
  • Closes parts orders for billing upon completion of order using the computer system.
  • Assists in resolving customer issues.
  • Processes return of warranty parts to corporate warranty department.
  • Runs daily and monthly reports.  Submit reports as required to corporate office.
  • Researches part requirements using computer system and equipment catalogs.
  • Checks parts in and out of inventory at the branch location to ensure accurate inventory control.
  • Maintains records on parts usage and return parts as appropriate to corporate warehouse.
  • Ships and receives parts and equipment for the branch.
  • Keeps parts stock clean and organized.
  • Generates accurate purchase orders for parts to corporate office and outside vendors.
REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Two (2) or more years of experience as an Administrative Assistant with a service oriented business.
  • Previous experience working with parts inventory is a plus.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 
  • Strong windows based computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
