We're looking for an energetic, outgoing, and results-driven Community Liaison / Business Development Representative to help grow our skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers by developing strong referral partnerships and increasing community awareness.

Position Summary

The Community Liaison is responsible for increasing census through relationship building, community outreach, and strategic business development efforts. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for hospitals, physicians, case managers, assisted living communities, home health agencies, and other referral sources throughout the Oil City and Saegertown service areas.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and passionate about helping patients transition to high-quality skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and community organizations.

  • Generate new referral sources while strengthening existing partnerships.

  • Conduct regular visits to referral partners within the assigned territory.

  • Represent the facilities at networking events, health fairs, chamber events, and community functions.

  • Educate referral sources about the services and specialties offered by each facility.

  • Collaborate with Admissions, Clinical Leadership, and Executive Directors to ensure smooth patient transitions.

  • Monitor referral activity, admissions, and market trends.

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase census and brand awareness.

  • Identify opportunities for business growth within the community.

  • Maintain accurate records of marketing activities and referral contacts.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to referral partners, residents, and families.

  • Travel between the Oil City and Saegertown facilities and throughout the surrounding communities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Previous experience in healthcare marketing, admissions, business development, sales, or long-term care preferred.

  • Knowledge of skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems.

  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
