Description The Enterprise Strategic Partnership Team enables Huntington's strategic priorities through the identification, evaluation and execution of strategic partnerships. The Hunt Ventures Business Development Director will support the outreach and development of strategic partnerships. Duties & Responsibilities: Engage with segment business unit leaders and key partners to understand segment/partner priorities and consults on how partnership can enable those key priorities and initiatives.

Research and evaluate external information and intelligence including but not limited to; Innovation, trends, disruption, technology companies, strategic partners, fintech and new business models. Prepare presentations for senior leadership on the research including potential recommendations and opportunities for partnerships. Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts to aid in the identification and evaluation of potential partners.

Acts as primary point of contact for potential partnerships. Identifies, sources, pitches, evaluates and manages new partnerships for Huntington Bank. Provides thought leadership with internal business segment leaders and subject matter experts, as well external partners, on new and innovative ways to create new partnership opportunities and business models.

Ensures the optimization of the partnership opportunities across all Huntington business segments. Participates in the negotiations of commercial and non-commercial terms with potential strategic partners. Consults on the evaluation and analyzation external partners, programs, technologies, innovation, emerging trends and business models for strategic fit with business segment and enterprise priorities.

Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 10 or more years of business/commercial sales development/relationship management, product management, strategy experience within financial services, management consulting, technology or marketing firm. Preferred Qualifications: Experience applying a quantitative methodology to drive a selection process (Funneling through the noise) Experience prospecting and partnering with commercial businesses or Fintech Strong analytical and problems solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; advanced skills in excel and PowerPoint Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.

Compensation Range: $102000-$208000 Annual Salary The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.
