Job description

 The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for developing and expanding relationships within targeted enterprise organizations, identifying high-value business opportunities, and positioning iLAB early in the buying cycle. Through executive engagement, market intelligence, and consultative selling, this role builds qualified opportunities that transition into the formal sales process. Success is measured by strategic account penetration, pipeline development, executive relationships, and the successful handoff of qualified opportunities to the sales team.

Enterprise Account Development

  • Identify and prioritize strategic target accounts in collaboration with Marketing, Sales Leadership, and Executive Leadership.
  • Develop and execute account growth and engagement strategies that expand iLAB's presence within assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Position iLAB early in the decision-making process by understanding client business objectives, organizational priorities, and future initiatives.

Strategic Opportunity Development

  • Identify modernization initiatives, digital transformation programs, system implementations, regulatory initiatives, and other strategic business opportunities aligned with iLAB's services.
  • Assess, qualify, and advance opportunities based on business need, stakeholder alignment, budget, timing, competitive landscape, and strategic fit.
  • Position iLAB as a trusted advisor by aligning solutions with client business goals and quality objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing, MDRs, Sales Leadership, and Delivery teams to transition qualified opportunities into the formal sales process.

Stakeholder & Market Intelligence

  • Develop an understanding of client budgeting cycles, procurement processes, funding sources, incumbent vendors, and purchasing timelines.
  • Identify organizational structures, decision-makers, influencers, approval processes, and potential barriers to opportunity advancement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to strengthen opportunity positioning and account strategies.
  • Experience in enterprise sales, business development, strategic account management, consulting, or related client-facing roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with executive stakeholders and navigate complex enterprise organizations.

  • Experience identifying, qualifying, and developing business opportunities within large or strategic accounts.

  • Strong consultative communication, relationship management, and business development skills.

  • Ability to assess client needs, organizational priorities, and strategic initiatives to identify growth opportunities.

  • Experience collaborating across sales, marketing, delivery, and executive leadership teams.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiar with quality assurance, software testing, technology services, consulting, or professional services environments.

  • Experience developing account penetration strategies within enterprise or regulated-industry environment

  • Experience supporting enterprise clients in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, Utilities, or Government.

  • Established network of industry contacts and executive relationships within target markets.
