What you'll do

The VP, Global Partner Sales is responsible for developing, managing and expanding Vasionโ€™s network of MSP, Reseller and Strategic partnerships globally. This role includes targeting potential partners, managing and developing existing partners to contribute to ARR sales objectives, and developing programs to support world-class partner engagement.

  • Create, execute, and manage a world-class Partner Program and Sales strategy to drive revenue growth from MSP, Reseller and Strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set and achieve challenging growth targets and inspire and motivate your organization to do the same.
  • Lead a highly effective and productive Partner Sales organization while exemplifying the core values of the company.
  • Partner Engagement & Relationships
  • Develop and negotiate partnership agreements, from initial outreach to agreement to ARR sales results.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting partner relationships by working with CAM and AE/SE teams to understand the needs of our channel partners and their customers.
  • Develop and manage an effective partner program aligned to company objectives and with industry best practices
  • Gather and analyze partner, market and customer feedback to inform product and service development.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Drive execution to meet or exceed partner sales targets across MSP, Reseller and Strategic partner sales.
  • Monitor performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
  • Team Management
  • Develop, coach, and mentor those in your organization, including leaders and individuals.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development programs for Partner Sales personnel.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Develop a robust framework for managing and evaluating the success of partnerships, ensuring they contribute positively to Vasionโ€™s strategic objectives.
  • Manage the partner sales budget, including expenses, headcount, and resources.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Finance, Operations, Sales, Product, and Marketing organizations to provide partner feedback to improve our product offering and customer experience necessary to scale the partner business.
  • Remain up-to-date on current industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
  • 12-15+ years experience managing a team of CAMโ€™s in a driven and collaborative channel sales environment.
  • Experience with software platforms such as Mindmatrix, SFDC, DOMO, and other similar tools.
  • Experience selling software/hardware technology solutions in a competitive SaaS industry.

  • Strong executive leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage, inspire, and motivate a multi-leveled sales organization.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Channel Sales ecosystem, including reseller programs, distribution networks, and partner enablement.
