Summary:

  • Our client is a premier-tier 1 supplier of automotive components who is looking to add experienced and professional Quality Manger to their team. The Quality Manager would provide plans, coordinates and directs the quality assurance program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.


The Quality Manager should have experience with the quality standard IATF 16949


Quality Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree from four-year college or university in a technical program; or two-year technical degree and related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • The combination of educational and practical experience is necessary for the employee to competently manage the operations of the site, to optimize the efficiency of operations at maximum profit
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, capability and statistical inference
  • Ability to apply concepts such as factions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions
  • Maintain proper certifications and /or qualifications for position
  • Monitor and communicate Quality related operational measurable
  • Evaluate competence of direct reports to perform defined activities and adjust when needed
  • Evaluate, train and guide for future demands related to Strategic and Operational Plans & Objectives


Quality Manager Description:

  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality system
  • Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system per related procedures
  • Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels per related procedures
  • Verify the implementation of solutions and/or corrective actions
  • Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency of unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
  • Represent the โ€œNeeds of the Customerโ€ in internal functions such as:
  • Selection of special characteristics during the APQP process
  • Manage the preparation of capability studies, gage R&R, inspection instructions and control plans for all new products per APQP Manual
