Salaried compensation is expected to begin within 3 to 5 months, following our node, token sales or funding.
ROLE: Director of Market Structure, Liquidity & Exchange Operations
Autheo is seeking an experienced digital asset Market Maker to lead liquidity strategy, exchange operations, market making oversight, token distribution mechanics, and exchange relationships across both centralized exchanges (CEXs) and decentralized exchanges (DEXs). This individual will be responsible for helping the organization develop internal expertise in token market structure, liquidity management, exchange operations, trading infrastructure, and ecosystem growth while supporting exchange listings, validator node initiatives, token launches, and long-term market development.
This role will serve as the organization's subject matter expert on market microstructure, liquidity provisioning, exchange integrations, token distribution programs, staking economics, emissions design, market maker relationships, and trading operations. The position will work closely with executive leadership, tokenomics, finance, legal, compliance, ecosystem, and engineering teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

CEX Market Operations • Develop exchange liquidity strategies supporting healthy order books and efficient price discovery. • Coordinate with external market makers, liquidity providers, trading firms, and exchange partners. • Monitor trading activity, market health, spreads, volume, and liquidity metrics. • Support treasury and liquidity allocation decisions.
Market Structure & Tokenomics • Advise leadership regarding tokenomics design, emissions schedules, vesting structures, staking incentives, validator incentives, and ecosystem growth programs. • Model liquidity requirements, circulating supply impacts, unlock schedules, and market behavior. • Evaluate the impact of node programs, staking programs, ecosystem incentives, and airdrops on market dynamics.
Token Distribution Programs • Design and oversee token claim systems, airdrops, staking programs, vesting systems, referral programs, rewards programs, and incentive mechanisms. • Coordinate with engineering teams on implementation of token distribution infrastructure. • Monitor and report on distribution effectiveness and ecosystem participation.
Trading & Liquidity Analytics • Build dashboards and reporting frameworks for liquidity, volume, trading activity, market depth, and token circulation. • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, exchange behavior, and ecosystem growth metrics. • Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations.
Market Risk & Compliance Coordination • Work closely with legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure market activities are conducted within applicable legal and regulatory frameworks. • Support market surveillance, anti-manipulation controls, and best practices. • Coordinate with the Chief Risk Officer, General Counsel, and compliance leadership regarding market structure risks.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE • 7+ years of experience in capital markets, digital assets, trading, exchange operations, market making, liquidity management, tokenomics, or related disciplines. • Direct experience managing or supporting token launches. • Direct experience with centralized exchange listings and exchange relationship management. • Direct experience designing or managing liquidity pools on decentralized exchanges. • Experience working with market makers, trading firms, liquidity providers, and exchange operators. • Experience evaluating tokenomics, emissions schedules, staking systems, and ecosystem incentives. • Experience with token claims, airdrops, vesting systems, liquidity provisioning, and staking infrastructure. • Experience analyzing market depth, spreads, volume, liquidity, and trading behavior.
