As a Director, HR Business Partner, you will serve as a key member of the HR Business Partner team, leading the people strategy and HR delivery for an organization within Ford You will partner across the HR function to drive scalable HR programs and talent initiatives, deliver value-added support to an organization's leadership team, and translate business objectives into effective execution across the organization.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
  • Lead the design, implementation, and execution of the organization's HR strategy and overall HR program delivery, spanning organization design, talent and workforce planning, and all company and organization HR objectives.
  • Drive the organization and HR strategy toward a culture of excellence; prepare leaders and teams to embrace organizational change; and collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure employees are engaged and inspired to deliver results in a dynamic, challenging environment.
  • Consult with senior business leaders to enhance organizational design & effectiveness, as well as drive employee engagement.
  • Translate company-wide objectives and initiatives into tailored strategies that meet the specific needs of the organization, technical leaders, and employees.
  • Lead large-scale change management planning and execution impacting hundreds to thousands of employees. Implement organizational structures that improve individual and organizational performance, including during periods of rapid change, while minimizing business disruption.
  • Develop and implement organization-specific people and workforce plans and roadmaps that align talent with business needs. Drives strategies to attract, engage, and retain world-class talent to support business growth.
  • Own accountability for execution of the talent management lifecycle including talent acquisition, talent integration, performance management, total rewards management, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Based on business priorities and organizational requirements, this role may include people leadership responsibility to a team of HR Business Partners.

Qualifications
You'll have...
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree or 10 years with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field
  • Willingness to work in person at Ford's Dearborn, MI headquarters at least four days per week
