Job Description

This position is responsible for generating leads, maintaining and growing new and/or existing customers tele-virtually in an assigned territory comprised of various healthcare facilities.

This role will support an array of promotional strategies including direct sales, lead generation, brand & disease-state awareness, contracting pull-through, as well as ad-hoc customer touchpoints as needed. This is an office-based position that will be based out of our Westborough, MA facility.

Job Duties
  • Manage a portfolio of businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunity for growth, managing risks, managing a sales pipeline, and forecasting business.
  • Work in collaboration with the Field Sales Team to develop and implement territory business plans designed to achieve sales quota in territory.
  • Identify focus areas for driving sales through partnership with Omnichannel Marketing and Analytics team.
  • Build sustainable business relationships with Physicians, Nurses, Technicians, and other Hospital staff. Prioritize and deliver outstanding sales experiences to customers.
  • Partner with Omnichannel Marketing and Analytics & Reporting functions to create new business opportunities in alignment with company focus and priorities.
  • Perform proactive, outbound sales activities such as: lead generation, post sales customer follow-up and promotional campaigns to existing customers, prospects and leads.
  • Prospect relentlessly to build pipeline and build strong personal relationships with prospects.
  • Meet and exceed activity expectations and goals as provided by Sales Development Manager.
  • Develop a sound understanding of the Olympus Medical Systems Group product portfolio Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, field Territory Managers and Sales Leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a healthcare or business-related field.
  • Must excel in managing customer relationships. Must excel in lead generation / solution selling.
  • Ideal candidates will be able to consider future relocation opportunities for growth into outside field sales in various markets across the country. Will be required to occasionally travel to Center Valley, PA for training/events and participate in annual NSM.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Proven sales experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Experience with remote technology (call centers, VOIP) preferred.

Total compensation: $70,000.00 base salary per year + eligibility for a performance-based commission plan, which includes certain non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives. Commission earnings are not guaranteed and are determined by individual sales performance in accordance with the terms of the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan.
