Provides resources for older adults in community on aging services. Uses knowledge of older adults and aging services to procure speakers for calendar of events. Maintains membership list in computer of Senior Advantage members. Leads various support groups in area for caregivers, and diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, etc.Education: ▪ Required: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or GerontologyExperience: ▪ Preferred: Recent work experience in health careSkills: ▪ Good communication skills – Ability to communicate effectively in written format and/or oral presentations ▪ Strong analytical & problem solving skills; semi-independent in decision making ▪ Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment ▪ Exhibit initiative, responsibility & flexibility ▪ Learn and appropriately utilize all required computer applications, including but not limited to E-mail, Windows-based or Microsoft programs ▪ Ability to write effective documentation for processes and procedures. ▪ Ability to make routine decisions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. ▪ Appropriate assessment skillsLicensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ N/A
