Job description

TGA Premier Sports – Youth Sports Coach (Cheerleading)

TGA Premier Sports offers a national, school-based enrichment program that brings Cheerleading directly to children ages 3–14 years old across Wake and Durham counties. Most classes take place on school campuses during after-school hours (between 2:00–5:00 PM).

We care first and foremost about finding coaches who genuinely enjoy working with children. If you bring the energy, patience, and ability to connect with kids, we will teach you the sport. TGA provides full curriculum and training, so prior coaching experience is not required.

Experience

  • Experience working with children in any setting (schools, camps, babysitting, volunteering, etc.)
  • No prior coaching experience required — we provide all curriculum and training for Cheerleading. Note: having experience with the sports you coach is preferred.

Availability & Logistics

  • Afternoon (around 2:30-5:30pm) availability (2–5 days per week)
  • Willingness to work short shifts (typically 1–3 hours per day)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability and willingness to transport equipment to and from class
  • Ability to complete onboarding paperwork promptly (processing takes several weeks)
