Job description

Floral Merchandiser

 Part-Time Position: Start times range from 6am-8am
Shifts Sunday-Saturday

Bachman’s Grocery division is looking to hire a part-time Floral Merchandiser. Candidates for the role should have a valid driver’s license and a passion for bringing displays to life with beautiful flowers and merchandise.

Position Duties:

  • In-store servicing, merchandising, and maintaining proper levels of perishable and hard goods inventory in assigned floral grocery stores.
  • Identify, remove, and transfer out old or non-saleable product.
  • Determine best-selling products and store trends for each store and make selections of product for delivery.
  • Load and deliver to stores and create visually pleasing displays.
  • Communicate needs of the business to other business partners.
  • Clean, organize and maintain a neat orderly store environment consistent with department design. This includes care and maintenance of perishable & hardgoods products.
  • Responsible for multiple locations per day and may involve various loads or long hours during peak.

Qualifications:

  • This position requires a valid Driver’s License and able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report check 
  • Ability to drive frequently in the metro area with a full-size van.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs. repeatedly and 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • The ability to work independently is required.
  • 1 or more years of Visual Merchandising experience.
  • Knowledge of blooming and green plants and cut flower care is preferred.
  • Comfortable using technology, i.e. tablets and applications.
