Position Summary
Under general supervision, assist in the support of the Testing Center in accordance with federal, state and institutional policies and guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Provides specialized support for various testing procedures and programs.
• Proctor make-up exams for Clovis Community College students, as well as other colleges and universities.
• Schedule appointments for the National Test Center on CAFB as needed.
• Assist in the inventorying and maintaining security of testing materials.
• Maintain confidential records, assist in preparation of reports, and disseminate test results to students, applicable agencies, other colleges or universities, and departments within Clovis Community College.
• Ensure that an appropriate testing environment exists.
• Ensure test standardization procedures are followed in a confidential, secure manner. Maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure a climate of good customer service within the Testing Center, giving accurate information to students, faculty, staff and the community.
• Support the function of the Testing Center in the Testing Coordinator's absence
Requires frequent sitting and moving about, continuous use of fine motor skills, and pushing and pulling of up to 10 lbs.
Testing Center hours are Monday - Thursday 8am to 8pm, & Fridays 8am to 4:30pm during the regular semester. These hours vary during the interim period between semesters. Two evening shifts per week, during the regular semester, are required. Some flexibility in the work schedule is expected.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher preferred. Past experience working effectively and dependably with students and employees preferred. Good communication skills and organizational skills required.
