Job description

Overview

FWI is building a team to support the Naval Postgraduate School's (NPS) NPS Extended Campus (NEC) and Office of University Communications (OUC). This contract requires dedicated program leadership to oversee a multidisciplinary contractor team delivering administrative, instructional design, media, web, and communications support across NPS academic programs. This position will serve as FWI's primary management authority for this contract, bridging contractor operations, government requirements, and performance accountability to ensure seamless delivery of all contracted services. The Program Manager will provide overall leadership for contractor performance, serve as the single point of contact for the Government's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), manage day-to-day operations, and ensure NPS receives consistent, high-quality, and mission-aligned support across all performance areas.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This part-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, roughly 18.5 hours per week at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall management of contractor performance under this contract
  • Serve as primary point of contact for the Government COR and contractor employees
  • Make day-to-day decisions supporting contract performance
  • Ensure all PWS requirements are met on time and within budget
Qualifications

Required: 

  • BA/BS degree in administration, management, communications, or relevant business discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of program management experience in a similar environment.

Desired: 

  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multi-disciplinary teams in an education or government contracting environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
