Job description

Warehouse Porter

On behalf of our client, the Durham Bulls, Noor Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Porter to join our clients’ team in Durham, NC. 
 
As a Warehouse Porter, you will be working behind the scenes and setting up concessions for the next event. We’re counting on you to move stock around the ballpark and maintain the warehouse storage areas. Heavy lifting and multitasking are necessary for this sometimes-unsung important position.  This is a part-time, seasonal opportunity that will run from ASAP-September 2026.  
 
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
  • Assisting with pre-season setup, game-day needs, and post-event breakdown. Accuracy and responsibility in handling cash transactions.
  • Unloading deliveries, verifying counts, inspecting for damage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Loading pallets, building outgoing loads, transporting goods to stands/locations using equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, and electronic carts.
  • Standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying items, and moving around.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
 
Required Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Good communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with staff.
  • Attention to detail for inventory tracking and labeling.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects safely.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jacks).
 
Pay & Schedule
  • Schedule Durham Bulls Baseball home games, including evenings,  weekends, and holidays. 
  • Shift length: 4-6 hours
  •  Hours are entirely event driven. This requires absolute availability for all home  games, which include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts typically begin 60- 90 minutes before the game and may extend through the end of the game. Flexibility  for special events, rain delays, or double-headers is required. 
  • Pay rate: $11/hour + tips
  • Pay frequency: Weekly
  • Overtime: May be available based on client needs
