Ascendum Machinery, a leading Volvo Construction Equipment dealer, is offering an excellent opportunity for a Parts Warehouse Representative in our Garner, NC (Raleigh Metro) branch. This position is ideal for someone who has some parts warehouse and/or parts counter experience and who is ready to grow their professional career with a leading company in the heavy equipment industry.


FLSA STATUS: The U.S. Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requires employers to classify their employees as being either exempt or non-exempt for the purpose of being paid overtime wages. The essential duties of this job are such that the employee is classified according to the FLSA as a Non-Exempt employee.

Responsibilities

  • Pulling parts orders accurately and timely.
  • Receiving parts into inventory and stocking.
  • Maintaining inventory controls according to company procedures.
  • Ensuring work area is clean and safely maintained.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience in a warehouse setting
  • Have at least a two-year degree or high school diploma.
  • Have a foundation in heavy equipment, equipment components or like mechanical parts.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Knowledge of manufacturers' parts ordering procedures.
  • Familiar with safety requirements for a warehouse environment including operating forklift.
  • Ability to expedite orders to meet customer needs.
