Why We Need Your Talents:

Food Preparation & Cleaning: Washing, slicing, dicing, and marinating vegetables, meats, and seafood for specialized vietnamese dishes. Assures that guests have a favorable dining experience


Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Responsible for preparation of all raw and cooked foods for line cooks as needed.
  • Responsible for cleaning and cutting garnishes for menu and line cooks.
  • Responsible for cleaning and cutting garnishes for menu and line cooks.
  • Ensure the safety and security of employees and guest.
  • Monitor and adjust performance to local competition.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

  • Ability to use all kitchen equipment and appliances.
  • Ability to read and write basic instructions.
  • Knowledge of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Ability to be creative.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.
  • Ability to communicate in English and fluently in either Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese & other Asian language.ย 

Must-Haves:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
  • One (1) year kitchen experienceย in a fast paced casual full service Asian restaurant or establishment.ย 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
  • Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying food product, equipment, trash/waste weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to lift, carry, deliver food items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout a scheduled shift.
  • Ability to work around 500 degree ovens and work within 40 degree walk-in refrigerators.
  • Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a 10 hr. shift.

Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.
