Job description

DCS is looking for a part-time Graphics Designer with experience working in or with DoD, Federal, and/or Government environments.
Essential Job Functions:
The applicant shall perform work involved in communicating information through visual means. Work includes the design and display of such visual materials as photographs, illustrations, diagrams, graphs, objects, models, slides, and charts for use in books, magazines, pamphlets, exhibits, live or video-recorded speeches or lectures, and other means of communication.
The applicant shall use the entire suite of Government-approved software, including Microsoft Office products and Adobe Creative Suite photo downloading and editing software, and audio and video capture and production tools to develop Government briefing packages, documentation packages, spreadsheets, certificates, awards, and visual material utilized for events.
The applicant shall photograph, and video record events using Government-furnished equipment or coordinate the use of recording services through available Government resources. The applicant shall store, edit, package, and replay the recorded data. The applicant shall provide these services for organizational events such as retirements, town halls, change of commands, ribbon cuttings, and other similar ceremonies.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Arts, or related field with extensive experience covering the specific tasks required by the position.
A minimum of 2 consecutive years, within the last 10 years, experience with a business or Government organization (preferably ground combat vehicle systems experience).
Experience in preparation of printed media such as brochures, pamphlets, leaflets or other printed material that included multiple illustrations, graphs and photographs, typesetting and typography.
Experience in the preparation of final-form graphics containing no errors utilizing PowerPoint, Claris Draw, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Publisher.
Experience converting vague concepts, descriptions, and ideas into presentation materials.
Experience utilizing MS office products, photo downloading and editing, audio and video capture tools to develop briefing packages, documentation packages, spreadsheets, awards, certificates and other visual material.

Adobe Acrobat DC (Professional), Adobe Acrobat Distiller, Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Audition, Bridge, Dreamweaver.
