Job Summary/Description:
The #1 News station in Toledo is looking for a part-time video journalist with a passion for videography! WTVG in Toledo wins with urgent live shots, only on stories, and great storytelling. Videography will be the top priority for this position, but some video editing is required as well. In addition, this Videojournalist could report from behind the camera, describing the scene while shooting breaking news or live events.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Gathering video, sound, graphics for stories
- Shoot daily live shots
- Editing stories/newscasts
- Gathering and confirming information
- Writing and editing stories for television, web, and OTT
- Regular social media posting and interaction
Qualifications/Requirements:
- One to two years of photography experience preferred.
- Experience shooting live shots or as-lives while speaking from behind the camera
- Edius editing software experience helpful
- Candidate must successfully complete MVR check.
