Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen and verify access credentials, visitor authorizations, contractor documentation, and deliveries in accordance with established data center access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, alarm systems, and access-control activity; report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry areas, business spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
