Welcome to Browns Valley Health Center!

We believe the dining experience should be something to look forward too! We do this by attending to the dining needs of each resident personally, in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner! This is all possibly by hiring staff that uphold our mission of Expressing Christโ€™s love by providing care that values every human life.

Primary Purpose

  • The primary purpose of this position is the responsibility of preparing and serving meals to individuals receiving services, employees, and guests. Also, the supervision of dietary aides in the absence of the Dietary Manager.

Salary Range and Hours

  • Salary Range Cook $17.73-$19.59
  • Status: Part Time PM (21-28 hours every 2 weeks)
  • Schedule: 3-4 Shifts every 2 weeks, every other weekend.
  • Hours: 12:00pm-7:30pm

Benefits Offered

  • PLT and ESST accrual starting day one of employment
  • Eligible to enroll is 403b retirement plan

What We Are Looking For:

  • Required Skills:
    • Must be 16 years of age or older
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Must have a good understanding of quality food production.
