Pay: Range starts at $55.29 ( pay is calculated based on years of licensed working experience)
Schedule : Wednesday & Friday 6:00am to 5:00pm 20hrs/week

Job Summary
The Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing all medication storage, preparation, and distribution in the pharmacy. The Pharmacist ensures that the pharmacy provides optimal service levels, meets all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements, and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes, and standards of practice.
Essential Functions
  • Supervises prescription processing activities to ensure quality and standard of practice are maintained
  • Manages transactions within the pharmacy to maintain accurate control of pharmaceutical materials and ensure adherence with applicable state and federal laws and rules
  • Follows all safety and USP guidelines for the preparation of medications
  • Participates regularly in supply chain and vendor meetings and shares issues, observations, and recommendations
  • Manages inbound/outbound pharmacy prescription transfers with incoming/outgoing clients
  • Follows all policies and procedures related to controlled substance dispensing
  • Follows agency documentation policies for the pharmacy.
  • Adheres to ethical and legal standards set by licensing boards and state regulations.
  • Participates in ongoing professional development activities to meet licensure, certification, and/or other agency requirements

Requirements
Education
  • Graduation from an accredited pharmacy program

Experience
  • None - see preferred experience

Licenses/Certificates
  • Pharmacy license in state of practice

Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of clinical pharmacy experience
