JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State's College of Engineering seeks to hire two instructional designers for spring 2025 to contribute to the development of video-based learning materials for CMPSC 360 and CMPSC 461. The primary responsibilities will include analyzing course materials, identifying topics, and creating interactive video content of 5-10 minutes in length.
Required Skills:
  • Must be a graduate student or an undergraduate student with a strong grade in CMPSC 360 or CMPSC 461.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in English, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Proficiency in video/audio editing tools and experience in creating course materials.

Additional Opportunities:
Successful candidates may have the opportunity to continue their research into the Summer semester, expanding upon their spring work.
