Job description

Position Summary
The Operations Data & Reporting Analyst supports the analytical needs of Operations by providing data-driven insights, reporting, and analysis to inform operational, business, and clinical decision-making. This role partners closely with Operations management and cross-functional teams to analyze business and clinical data, develop reports and dashboards, support system testing for clinical operations, and assist with the implementation and support of operational systems such as the EHR, the patient portal, and others.
Essential Position Functions
  • Query and analyze data for operational, business, and clinical needs to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders through written summaries, visualizations, and presentations. Apply strong business acumen to provide context around findings, including operational impacts, tradeoffs, and assumptions.
  • Understand core departmental business functions and work with business stakeholders to evaluate and support configuration and deployment of analytic solutions.
  • Engineer, design, develop, maintain, deliver, and present recurring and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for performance monitoring, process improvement, and decision support.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports and analyses.
  • Lead small scale projects/initiatives, including analysis, documentation, tracking of progress and results, process improvement, and implementation.
  • Partner with IT and Operations stakeholders to support systems testing related to clinical operations, including EHR enhancements and new feature rollouts.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), validation of data outputs, and post-implementation review of system changes affecting Operations.
  • Provide analytical support to specialty programs and other operational areas as assigned.
  • Provide data analysis, validation, and maintenance related to ADA Codes, fees, facility and provider rosters in operations systems such as EHR and Javelina, as directed.
  • Optimize and document efficient workflow and processes to support Operations.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, healthcare administration, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience which will provide the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Two or more years of experience in data analytics in a healthcare setting or similar analytical role preferred.
  • AxiUm system knowledge preferred.

Expected hiring range for this position depending on experience (annual salary):
$64,000-$76,000 USD
Compensation
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.

Paid Time Off (PTO): Eligible employees will accrue a minimum of 120 PTO hours per employment year in addition to seven paid holidays annually. The Company's PTO program combines vacation and sick leave, which is more generous than Washington State's Sick Leave Law. Employees in part-time roles working less than 40 hours per week will accrue PTO on a pro-rated basis.
Physical Requirements
The work is primarily performed while sitting and/or standing, but will require occasional walking, bending, stooping and carrying light items such as papers, books, or other supplies. The incumbent uses a computer and other standard office equipment to complete tasks.
