Job description

Hours: M-F, 4p-11p, Sa/Su 7a-11p
Hiring Range: $16.00 - $17.00


JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for monitoring soccer field and softball fields usage and confirming that guests have rental permits as needed. Also responsible for opening and closing of the complex.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Set up softball and soccer fields for leagues and rentals
  • Must be responsible and able to keep track of supplies and equipment, including inventory.
  • Tracking and recording daily field usage
  • Must be prompt and present when scheduled.
  • Must be able to set up and take down athletic equipment.
  • Performs the job safely and in compliance with district policies, procedures, work and safety rules.
  • Be familiar with the safe operation of any equipment necessary in accomplishing required tasks
  • Must be reliable, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain dependable attendance.


OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Must collect adult league game results.
  • verify adult league umpires/refs
  • occasionally moving soccer goals and turning on field lights
  • Other duties as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to communicate in various situations.
  • Knowledge of equipment.
  • Good knowledge of pertinent safety precautions.
  • Ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships with other employees.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

  • General work area is outdoors.
  • Exposures to dust, fumes and loud noises.
  • Subject to modified/flexible work schedule including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must work around the general population.
  • Must work under supervision and direction of the Athletic Manager.
  • Able to work under stressful situations, including the ability to respond quickly and accurately to any and all emergencies.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Must maintain CPR certification.

Must be at least 18 years of age

Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation to travel to District soccer and softball fields as needed.
