Job description

Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist - Assistant
Location: Houston, TX 77098
Job Summary

Momentum Therapy Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing pediatric therapy team on a Pay-Per-Visit (PPV) basis. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to pediatric patients in accordance with individualized treatment plans.

This position offers scheduling flexibility while allowing clinicians to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Speech Language Pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members in both English and Spanish.
  • Support assessment and evaluation procedures as directed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant or related field.
  • Certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant preferred.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children and adults from diverse backgrounds.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
