Job description

Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Part-Time Outpatient Longview, Texas
At H2 Health, we believe great care begins with great clinicians. As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in our outpatient clinic, you will provide meaningful, play-based therapy while supporting children and families in a collaborative, team-driven environment.
Schedule: This is a part-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule. Candidates must be available to work from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Our clinicians primarily serve children with autism spectrum disorder, speech and language delays, developmental delays, social communication challenges, articulation disorders, phonological disorders, and feeding or oral-motor difficulties. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help children develop communication skills and functional language abilities.
Your Role:
  • Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Provide hands-on therapy focused on articulation, expressive and receptive language, social communication, and feeding goals
  • Use play-based and structured interventions to promote engagement and progress
  • Document treatment sessions accurately in Raintree EMR
  • Communicate effectively with supervising SLP regarding patient progress and plan adjustments
  • Partner with families and caregivers to promote carryover and consistency
  • Contribute to a culture of clinical learning and peer support

Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program (per state requirements)
  • Active state SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with children with developmental and communication needs
