Job description

Apple Speech and Educational Services Inc. is a therapist owned multi-disciplinary private practice in the San Fernando Valley that provides Speech and Child Development Services to children ages birth-21.

We are looking for a full time SLPA and/or SLP-CF to provide early intervention services in home around the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita or Antelope Valleys.

At Apple Speech employees come first, we let you choose your schedule and will pay you for your travel time. We will not send you to home if you feel unsafe. You will have a varied caseload with continuous supervisory support and mentorship.

We train new graduates with the 100 hours supervision and/or an additional training. We provide materials for therapy and PPE for COVID.

The ideal candidate MUST have a California State Speech license.

You must have a real passion and love for working with children.

Bilingual Spanish is a HUGE plus!

Job Description: Under the direction and supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP), the SLPA assists and supports the provision of Speech-Language Therapy services to clients in a variety of healthcare settings, including but not limited to, home visits, public libraries, in-clinic, daycares, and schools.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate of Arts or Associate of Science (2-year) SLPA degree from a community college approved by the California state licensing board and 100 Clinical Clock hours, and a CA state license or a BA or BS in Communicative Disorders and 100 Clinical Clock hours, and a state license. A valid SLPA license from the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board of California
