POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Position Overview:
The Unarmed Security Officer (Guard) includes but is not limited to a variety of security related duties. Responding to a variety of calls/incidents, secures/safeguards specific scenes, perform crowd control as required. Performs personnel, vehicular, and building facility checks; as well as First Aid and CPR as required. Completes all required reports, forms, and other established procedures via electronic security application.
Safely maintains and qualifies with assigned weapons, maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies. Operates patrol vehicle in a safe manner, conducts flag protocols, safeguards all assets, provides motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment as needed. Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOP's. Must be familiar with various Security systems such as: CCTV's, access control, emergency notification systems, and mobile security applications.
Job Duties:
  • Responds to a variety of calls/incidents
  • Enforce regulations designed to prevent security breaches.
  • Respond to alarms, complaints, incidents, violations, and suspicious activities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to take the appropriate action.
  • Secure/safeguard crime scenes and preserve evidence.
  • Perform access/visitor control duties.
  • Perform crowd control as required.
  • Perform personnel, vehicular and building facility checks.
  • First Aid and CPR/AED as required.
  • Complete all required reports, forms, and other documentation per established procedures.
  • Staff post as required and provide access control.
  • Properly vet all employees, trusted partners and daily visitors
  • Control access to restricted areas as required.
  • Report violations.
  • Direct and provide information to visitors.
  • Safeguard all assets.
  • Provide assistance as required.
  • Escort persons and equipment as needed.
  • Conduct foot patrols as required.
  • Monitor unusual situations/conditions through personal or electronic surveillance.
  • Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOPs.
  • Secure all exterior building doors and windows.
  • Be familiar with "Post Orders" which outline responsibilities such as entrance/exit posts, roving posts, traffic posts, etc.
  • Maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies.

$21.00-$23.24 Hourly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED required.
Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
Obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
Some College or associate degree Preferred.
Valid Driver's License.
Must be familiar with various Security systems such as: CCTV, access control, vetting tool, emergency notification systems, and mobile security applications.
Must be able to pass a Background Investigation.
Must be able to pass a Drug Screen.
Must be able to pass a Physical Exam.
Must have a Driver License and clean driving record
Must Speak English fluently; read and comprehend written English.
Must be able to demonstrate excellent skill using Microsoft applications and/or Google Drive
Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications.
Must be able to successfully complete approximately 40-80 hrs. of company provided training.
