Protection and Law Enforcement Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for someone like you to help create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
What You'll Work On:
  • Scenario and Storyline Development: Provide Military Police (MP) and Law Enforcement (LE) scenario scripting support, including Rule of Law and civil security scenario products depicting humanistic and stability operations within towns and communities.
  • Protection WfF Integration: Support the design and delivery of realistic Protection Warfighting Function (WfF) challenges, ensuring integration with other warfighting functions and synchronization across the exercise scenario.
  • EPW and Detainee Operations: Plan, coordinate, and execute EPW and detainee operations within the WFX, ensuring all related processes reflect doctrinal accuracy and real-world procedures.
  • Law Enforcement Reporting: Produce law enforcement reports and summaries that add narrative depth and support intelligence analysis stemming from: Law enforcement questioning of detained personnel, Key Leader Engagements (KLEs), and Coordination with local or host-nation police forces.
  • Scenario Enrichment: Create and manage named areas, border police, and local law enforcement figures as part of scenario design to enhance realism and context.
  • Simulation and Exercise Support: Provide Protection WfF simulation support and coordinate with simulation controllers to ensure injects, reports, and events accurately represent Protection-related actions and decisions.
  • Dynamic Storyline Crafting: Develop storylines and injects that challenge training audiences' understanding of Protection WfF capabilities, including force protection, antiterrorism, physical security, CBRN defense, and law enforcement operations.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Work closely with staff, observer-coach/trainers (OC/Ts), and training audience protection cells to synchronize law enforcement and protection activities with the overall scenario and training objectives.

You Have:
  • Experience with the Army Protection warfighting function, EPW and detainee operations, Rule of Law, and civil-military relations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint software
  • Knowledge of Army and Joint doctrine related to Protection, Law Enforcement, and Military Police operations
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience in military police, law enforcement, or protection operations OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in military police, law enforcement, or protection operations

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience developing or supporting scenario design, collective training, or Warfighter Exercises (WFX)
  • Experience with Operational Environment (OE) replication, civil affairs, stability operations, or hybrid threat environments
  • Ability to produce doctrinally accurate reports and scenario injects
  • Possession of strong written and oral communication skills
  • Master's degree
  • Graduate of the Military Police Captains Career Course or Command and General Staff College (CGSC)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
