Unarmed Security Guard

Tidewater Security Group is seeking professional and dependable Unarmed Security Guards to join our team. Security Guards will help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and responding to incidents in a professional manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor access points and control entry to authorized personnel only.
  • Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas.
  • Secure buildings, entrances, exits, gates, and designated areas.
  • Verify credentials and monitor visitor activity.
  • Monitor and respond professionally to security concerns and emergency.
  • Write detailed and accurate reports and document incidents.
  • Assist with traffic control when required.
  • Help prevent incidents and maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and property.
  • Follow all company safety and security procedures.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service while on duty.
  • Work closely with supervisors, management and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and observation skills.
  • Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
  • Professional attitude and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and patrol for extended periods in different weather environments.
  • No prior experience required (training provided).

  • Valid Driver License.
