The City of Cibolo is seeking a Crossing Guard to join our team. As a key member of the Police Department, the Crossing Guard is responsible for the safety and welfare of children crossing roadways at designated school crossing sites on school days at designated times. Duties of this position is to stop traffic, maintain awareness of street crossing, ensure all individuals cross the street safety, and communicate in a friendly demeanor to students, school staff, and parents. Our Crossing Guards make a difference in each student lives by engaging with them and ensuring that they safety cross street intersections.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED). The Crossing Guard position works in all-weather climates. Available to work Monday through Friday from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Must have a valid Texas Class C driver’s license and pass a background check, drug screening, and physical.


This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $18.00/hr.
