Job description

Travel Security keeps Apple employees safe when they travel. Every day is different in Travel Security, and we are highly influenced by global events. You might be conducting ground assessments in a Medium or High Risk location; or creating a security solution for one of our teams traveling to a remote location.
Description
This role will lead on all aspects of Travel Security in the Americas region (AMR), and will travel up to 50% of the time. ","responsibilities":"Conduct on the ground physical security assessments in the Americas (AMR) region, including to Extreme, High or Medium Risk environments.
Travel focused on the AMR region and globally as needed.
Identify, assess and manage security vendors to help keep our employees safe within the region.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand how their business operates and how they can be better supported when they travel.
Answer security questions from travelers from across our organization.
Deliver cross-functional projects that benefit the team and our employees.
Manage our data and analyze for trends.
Produce written reports and deliver presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working and traveling in a range of environments, especially those with a higher security risk.
Proven experience producing high-quality written work and presentations.
Strong project management experience and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Expertise with travel across Brazil and other locations in the region, such as Colombia or Guatemala.
Industry specific qualifications (hostile environment training; security risk management courses; medical qualifications; close protection qualifications).
Strong collaboration skills, building partnerships and working cross-organization to meet shared objectives.
Portuguese language proficiency.
Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Confirmed experience of delivering on your expertise, doing what you say you’ll do, and quickly acknowledging mistakes.
Ability to approach issues with a global perspective.
High level of ability to distill complex information into clear, concise communications.
Minimum Qualifications
9+ years industry experience in a travel security capacity.
Experience building travel security strategies across the the Americas region, with a deep expertise in Mexico and the different risk environments within the country; including extensive travel across Mexico.
Fluent working Spanish language proficiency.
Deep experience of assessing and managing security vendors providing secure transportation and protection services.
Experience of conducting physical security assessments of locations, routes and hotels.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
