Job Title: CMM Inspector - Night Shift & Day Shift

Location: Macomb, MI

Hours: 40 Hours

Duration: 6 Months contract

Compensation: $40/hr

Job Summary

  • The Inspector (CMM) is responsible for performing in process and final inspections on machined parts, assemblies, and or sub-assemblies in the Quality Department. The Inspector (CMM)must be able to perform First Article Inspections according to customer quality department workinstruction.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Perform in process and fi nal inspection on machined parts, and or sub-assemblies.
  • Complete inspections to engineering requirements.
  • Ability to build CMM Programs. (PC-DMISS & Calypso)
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer blueprints.
  • Use micrometers and calipers to perform First Article Inspections.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, College Associates, and or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifi cations.
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
  • Profi cient in Microsoft products and excel.
  • Outstanding punctuality and attendance.
  • Minimum Experience 5 Years CMM Inspection

Physical Requirements

  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use hand tools.
