The weekly workload can vary, but often involves a set number of client sessions—ranging from a few hours up to 20 hours per week—along with time for documentation, supervision, and ongoing professional development. Some therapists are employed by clinics or practices with fixed shifts, while others work independently and can set their own appointment times. They may work in private practices, clinics, or telehealth settings, offering counseling, therapy sessions, and coping strategies. This role is ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance or supplemental income while still making a meaningful impact on clients' well-being.
