Part-Time Temporary Recruiter - Grand Rapids, MI (Hybrid)

Intertek is actively seeking a Part-Time Temporary Recruiter to join our HR team in supporting recruiting and sourcing activities for our US Electrical Sales teams. This position is expected to work between 25-40 hours per week for approximately 3 months, and will be hybrid (remote-based from the Grand Rapids, MI area and on-site on Tuesdays).

What are we looking for?

The ideal Part-Time Temporary Recruiter candidate will be outgoing, self-driven, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This team member will work closely with the regular Recruiting and HR team members to source and build a pipeline of qualified candidates for the US Electrical Sales team.

Salary & Benefits Information

This position will be part-time temporary and will not be eligible for benefits, other than those required by the state of Michigan, including sick leave. The pay for this position will be $35-40 per hour.

What you'll do:

  • Strategically source, target, recruit, and deliver qualified candidates using creative techniques and provided resources
  • Utilize various channels, including LinkedIn and Indeed, to network and successfully source potential candidates and build talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Address critical openings proactively to ensure the support and fulfillment of key positions
  • Align position duties, requirements, and preferred qualifications to ensure appropriate candidate pool screening
  • Partner with regular Recruiting and HR team members to track candidates in consideration
  • Screening, interview, and provide appropriate feedback on all applicants considered
  • Participate in regular weekly check-ins to maintain consistent communication with HR & Recruiting team members

What it takes to be successful:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 2+ years recruiting experience in sales, technical, and professional roles (required)
  • Thorough understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity obligations (required)
  • Demonstrate technical skills/abilities related to the job such as using social media for recruiting, job boards, Excel, and presentation software (required)
  • Excellent organization and time management skills (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) (preferred)
