What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures; verify authorization and report access-related issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs; communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
