Position Title Information Specialist, Technology FLSA Non-Exempt FT/PT Part Time Hours Per Week 25 Work Schedule M-F, flexible days and hours, may work the occasional evening or weekend during peak Position Salary Range $22/hour Summary
The Enrollment Services, Technology department is hiring for a part time hourly employee supporting the enrollment services, technology team. This position will assist with enrollment services projects, data processing and cleanup, and enrollment communications. This position can have a hybrid schedule after training is complete.
Essential Role Responsibilities
  • Works closely with the director of enrollment services, technology, technology specialist, and other staff on the enrollment services, technology team on projects and tasks assigned to the department.
  • Assists with data processing, review and cleanup in the student information system (SIS) and CRMs.
  • Will participate in testing the SIS, CRMs, document imaging system and Self-Service during required system updates.
  • Assists with updating forms and webpages.
  • Prepares and runs reports of all kinds, including those generated from various CRMs, the student information system and other data systems.
  • Prepare and process materials for document imaging and use workflow management strategies to electronically transfer documents.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the student sign-in system.
  • Responds to in-person, web, phone, e-mail, and voicemail technical inquiries and follows up as appropriate.
  • Assist with all types of communications related to enrollment services.
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of student information and records compliance with laws and policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Required Experience Required
  • Associates degree or equivalent educational or employment experience required particularly in technology, communications or a related field. Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills required including proficiency with MS Office, Windows, other databases and the Internet required. Access database experience preferred.
  • Detailed knowledge of student information system(s), CRM system(s) and document imaging software.
  • Extensive knowledge of college policies, procedures and services.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously required.
  • Ability to acquire, maintain, and update substantial information regarding college policies and procedures and work with a broad range of people.
  • Understanding of enrollment policies and procedures.
