The Opportunity:
As an experienced Information Technology (IT) Solution Architect, you know how to manage and deliver new IT solutions to clients. Here, you'll lead our team of experienced IT professionals and mission specialists alongside key teammates to design, implement, test, deliver, and operate a cutting-edge hybrid cloud or on-prem R&D lab infrastructure and project development in the National Security Space arena. As the lab operates, you and your team will enable support development of cutting-edge GEOINT, SIGINT, and Multi-INT mission applications to help defend our nation and its allies. Your understanding of Agile DevSecOps, on-premises hardware, cloud services such as AWS, cross-domain systems, space reconnaissance systems, and national and tactical data integration will enable you to guide your team to successful mission outcomes again and again.
You will manage technology-based IT solution projects for clients, applying advanced theories, principles, and concepts and contributing to development of new principles and concepts. Leading the development of solutions to highly complex problems, you will generally work with wide latitude for unreviewed action or decision and have responsibility for supervision and development of first level supervisors and managers.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience working in or with Intelligence Community (IC) organizations
  • 6+ years of experience supporting a National Security Space customer
  • 4+ years of experience supporting laboratory environments
  • Experience with the design, deployment, and operations of hybrid cloud or on-premises environments, including using C2S/C2E cloud service providers in the IC
  • Experience with AWS
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a STEM field

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with high-performance computing, AI/ML, modeling and simulation for space-based systems, or Cross Domain Solutions
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Master's degree in Business or a STEM field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
