OBJECTIVE

To work under the direction of the Columbia Worship Director and in coordination with the Worship Arts Ministry in carrying out the five functions of the New Testament Church: worship, discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, and ministry. Essentially, the Columbia Campus Technical Directors responsibility is to provide leadership for all technical areas of worship primarily on Sunday mornings, but also at campus events.

EXPECTATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and direct all audio and visual elements on Sunday mornings at RHCC Columbia.
  • Develop and coach volunteer teams to execute all technical elements of worship ministry.
  • Be responsible for directing the set-up of Sunday mornings at RHCC Columbia.
  • Assist with production meetings with the worship team and tech staff on Sunday mornings.
  • Address areas of tech support and media repair for all large and small group gathering spaces at the Columbia campus including, but not limited to, the auditorium, family ministry environments, and meeting rooms.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled 1 on 1 meetings with direct supervisor, as well as monthly Columbia campus meetings and monthly All-Staff meetings, unless otherwise noted.
  • Participate in central tech meetings and training as scheduled by the Central Production Director.
  • Work directly with Columbia Worship Director to plan and create worship moments and environments.
  • Provide technical support to RHCC Columbia events or activities.
  • Provide technical assistance for central events and ministries as agreed upon by the Columbia Worship Director and Central Production Director.
  • Regularly work 22 hours per week, making sure to stay within and not exceed the approved scheduled work week.
