Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Care and Support Greater Montreal Area - Start Date: Immediate Willing to work in the area mentioned and ideally owns a means of transport. Full-time / Part-time – Variable shift Salary: Up to $58/contract plus other benefits (bonuses, transportation reimbursement, continuing education plan, etc.) About Asicc-Med – Mobile Health: At Asicc-Med, we believe that every breath counts. Our respiratory therapists provide in-home and in-facility care to support patients with respiratory problems, using a humane, safe, and dignified approach. Your responsibilities: Assess the patients' respiratory status and perform the required examinations. Implement and adjust prescribed respiratory treatments (oxygen therapy, aerosols, ventilation, etc.). Monitor clinical progress and intervene in case of respiratory distress. Collaborating with doctors, nurses and other professionals to establish and adapt care plans. Educating patients and their families on the use of respiratory devices and the management of treatments at home. To contribute to the prevention and promotion of respiratory health. Ensure proper record keeping and compliance with the standards of the OIIAQ (Professional Order of Respiratory Therapists of Quebec). Desired profile: Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in respiratory therapy recognized in Quebec. Member in good standing of the OIIAQ. CPR Certification NRP Certification Experience in inter-hospital transport (e.g., +/- 6 hours/transfer) Experience in respiratory care (hospital, intensive care, home or care facility) is an asset. Excellent technical skills and well-developed clinical sense. Ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team. Rigour, sense of responsibility and analytical mind. Empathy, listening and respect for confidentiality. Fluency in French (spoken and written); English or other language an asset. Driving licence and mobility for home visits.
