Job description

Join our team at the Ambulatory Surgery Center at the Plaza as a Surgical Technologist, where you'll play a key role in outpatient procedures.  We're dedicated to delivering top-notch patient care and embracing cutting-edge technology.  Your responsibilities will include visually assessing patients' conditions, maintaining sterile techniques, ensuring accurate counts throughout the surgery, as well as proficiently assembling, preparing and passing sutures, instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants.


Our Ambulatory Surgery Center offers a comfortable and warm environment for outpatient surgery.  Be a part of the team that is committed to exceptional clinical outcomes, superior patient experience and the latest technology.  
 

Schedule

  • Casual | Minimum 1 shift per month | Plaza Surgery Center 
  • Monday-Friday | Various 8 to 10-hour shifts working between 5am – 7pm 
  • No weekends or holidays! 
     

Pay and Benefits 

  • Starting pay begins at $25.20 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience 
    • Pay range: $25.20 - $37.81 per hour

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program 
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provided Card 
  • Basic knowledge of surgical technologist duties and responsibilities 
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
     

To be eligible for the hiring bonus, student loan repayment and relocation bonus, you must be hired into an eligible full or part-time benefited position. Bonuses will only be awarded in cases where the applicant has not worked for CentraCare for at least the past nine months. Relocation bonus must meet distance requirements.
