WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN AN OYSTER SHUCKER
  • Hardworking, attentive, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service
  • Experience as a cook and/or oyster shucking desired, preferably in a high-volume restaurant
  • Flexible availability to work mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and weekdays as needed
WHAT YOU WILL DO AS AN OYSTER SHUCKER
  • Shuck fresh oysters, preparatory to fresh packing
  • Ensure oyster bar is properly stocked and set up
  • Follow established recipes and plating requirements as set by Clyde’s standards
  • Provide fast, accurate shucking of oysters
  • Provide assistance to Chef and team members with food preparation
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and safely used
  • Follow Clyde’s high standards for food safety and quality
