Job description

Position Overview

We are seekinga Part-Time Store Stylist to support the opening of our new store location in New York. The ideal candidate will offer top-notch service throughout the sales floor, from welcoming customers and assisting with sales to sharing product knowledge, providing styling advice, managing the cash wrap, restocking, and maintaining the overall store presentation. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile launch and to establish the store as a key destination in one of the world's most vibrant retail environments. This position will report to the Store Manager.


Core Responsibilities

  • Be a brand ambassador - our team of stylists are the face of Tuckernuck. Must ensure brand integrity while upholding our core values and delivering the highest level of service.
  • Contribute to a proactive selling culture that focuses on building genuine, long-term relationships. Maintain awareness and involvement with top customers.
  • Support the store team by achieving and exceeding financial goals and build multiple revenue streams through walk-in traffic, clienteling, and event-generated business.
  • Be a customer service champion. Ensure exemplary customer service and exceed expectations at all opportunities.
  • Have a passion for the Tuckernuck brand and our offerings through detail-oriented product knowledge.
  • Maintain an understanding of current market and national trends to offer insightful suggestions. Provide honest, insightful feedback to customers.
  • Ensure operational integrity in daily routines and best practices in the store to support both our team and our customers.


Minimum Requirements

  • Available to work a minimum of 20-25 hours/week, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Retail or relevant customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Flexibility- willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Compensation

Compensation for the role will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. The pay for this position will be between $20-$28 per hour. This position will beclassified as part-time non-exempt.
