JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Statistics at The Pennsylvania State University invite applications for part-time online instructional faculty positions to teach the Department's University Park courses throughout Spring 2025, Summer 2025, and Fall 2025 semesters.
The responsibilities include:
  • providing program instruction for our in person courses and administering them through our learning management system (Canvas)
  • incorporating innovative teaching methodologies
  • engaging in classes
  • designing course material and assessments
  • providing personalized and substantive feedback

A conferred Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field is preferred. Applicants with a masters degree and related experience will be considered. Previous experience is preferred. Applications must be submitted electronically and include a cover letter and curriculum vitae. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until all positions are filled. These will be part-time positions, applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arise.
