Job Summary:
We seek an individual passionate about teaching and invested in student success. If you desire to make a difference in the lives of undergraduate students, we invite you to apply for an adjunct faculty position in Statistics. Scope:
The Department of Statistics & Technology in the Getty College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio Northern University welcomes applicants for a part-time, adjunct faculty position in Statistics. Candidates with backgrounds in all areas of Statistics will be considered.
Principal Responsibilities
This individual will serve as the instructor of record for introductory statistics or other courses as assigned. Typical assignments include one or two courses each semester, depending on student demand. Questions concerning the position should be directed to the Department Chair, Dr. Richard Miller (r-miller.4@onu.edu).
Required Skills:
The successful candidate will demonstrate good interpersonal skills, as well as the interest and ability to mentor students both inside and outside the classroom. Candidates with experience teaching undergraduate, introductory Statistics courses are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Statistics or 18 hours graduate coursework in Statistics is required. Those with a doctorate in Statistics and experience teaching Statistics at the university level are encouraged to apply.
