Are you a detail-oriented professional ready to make a meaningful impact in healthcare? We’re looking for a Specimen Collector to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring accurate and professional specimen collection services. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt seamlessly to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
  • Ensure all patient paperwork is accurately completed and required information is captured during the collection process.
  • Perform specimen collections including blood and urine with precision and care, following established procedures and client-specific requirements to deliver high-quality service.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, clients, and laboratory staff, fostering a professional and respectful environment.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality, HIPAA, and compliance standards.
  • Monitor inventory and ensure collection supplies are fully stocked and ready for use.
  • Maintain accurate client records, updating information as necessary.
  • Stay current on training and best practices for urine and other specimen collections.
  • Provide regular updates and collaborate with office staff, laboratory technologists, and managers as needed.
  • Follow all state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by Gravity.
